MFQI has extensive experience and in-house knowledge on ripening all kinds of fruit, including mangos, avocados and kiwis. We currently manage the ripening process for various well-known customers.
Our ripening managers are specialists in using both heat and ethylene in the ripening process, and also understand the software used in computer-controlled ripening cells.
During the ripening process, we measure the ripeness, dry matter content, spoilage, and temperature of products. We monitor both the quality of products and the ripening process itself.
We process the progress of the ripening in clear reports with photos and recommendations. If necessary or desired, we can explain what we do verbally, so all our actions are transparent and understood by customers.
